I’ve been dancing from what feels like birth, though I think realistically it was sometime between 6 and 10 years old when I really fell in love with it. The latest reincarnation has been dancing in the vertical realm, making me learn a whole new set of techniques and reaching a whole new level of motion sickness. For the last 10 years I have been thinking every performance would be my last one- the aches and commitment required feeling like just too much. But I keep surprising myself by turning up! Hopefully, it is as delightful for the audience to witness as it is for me to be surprised! I think Laurie is one of, if not my favourite, Artists to work with. We have a long and boring, and not so boring, history. It is with pure joy I find myself back by her side dancing.
